My Name Is Sarah-Rose and I go by S-R
I am an LA-based editor with 14 years experience in post production. I have edited TV, streaming, and documentary for HGTV, NPR, Vice, Travel Channel, and MasterClass. I am a masterful storyteller who thrives on collaboration. I’ve cut multiple show opens, can write, and have a fierce grasp on structure, pacing, and performance. I absolutely love cutting vérité. I cut without ego and can take notes.
In addition to editing, I have written and produced commercial content for illy Caffe, Herbalife Nutrition, TED talks, and AutisMate, and I have 5 years experience managing post teams.
I have an MFA in filmmaking from New York University where I was an award-winning writer, director, and editor, including the Wasserman Award for Best Directing, Christopher Columbus Production Award, and the SAG Indie Audience Choice Award. My feature screenplays have been finalists for Sundance Writing Labs, the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, and the Richard Vague Production award, and I received a narrative feature film writing award from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. I also have a science side and earned a BS in Physics from UC Santa Cruz.
